How We Verify Listings

Transparency about our process helps you make informed decisions.

How Programs Are Added

Programs are added to the OCD RTC directory through a combination of:

  • Research into publicly available information about residential OCD treatment programs
  • Direct outreach to treatment centers to confirm program details
  • Submissions and suggestions from families and clinicians

Inclusion in this directory is not an endorsement of any program.

What We Verify

For each listing, we attempt to verify the following information:

  • Location and current operating status
  • Age groups served
  • Treatment modalities offered (e.g., ERP, CBT, DBT)
  • Contact information (phone, website)
  • Program type (residential, inpatient, etc.)

Each verified listing displays a "Last verified" date so you know when the information was last confirmed.

What We Do NOT Verify

OCD RTC does not verify:

  • Clinical quality or treatment outcomes
  • Individual clinician credentials or qualifications
  • Licensing or accreditation status
  • Insurance acceptance details
  • Patient satisfaction or safety records

Families should independently verify all clinical and licensing details before enrolling in any program.

How Often Listings Are Reviewed

We aim to review and re-verify each listing at least once per year. Programs marked "Verification pending" are new additions or listings that have not yet been confirmed with updated information.

If you notice outdated or inaccurate information, please let us know.

Provider Registration Policy

OCD RTC receives no compensation from any program listed in the directory. Provider registration is free and does not affect listing placement or visibility.

If we introduce paid features in the future (such as enhanced listings), paid and editorial listings will be clearly distinguished, and disclosure language will be added to our disclaimer.
